What is Life Coaching?
Life coaching is a co-creative, collaborative effort between the coach and the client. The premise is that the client knows what is best for them and as a coach we simply help them to make the necessary shifts that they want to make. A coach acts as a facilitator, an accountability partner, a listening ear, and a neutral counterpart.
The Paradigm:
The paradigm is based on goals and the future.
The Formulation:
The formulation is to develop timelines and strategies to culitvate new thoughts and behaviors and motivate toward personal growth and development.
The Result:
The result is that a person is able to realize and attain their goals and dreams.
How It Works: It’s a step-wise process:
I sit down with my clients to assess where they currently are in their life. Next, I work with my clients to establish the goals that they would like to accomplish. After the goals have been established, realistic timelines and strategies are implemented. Once my client begins working toward their goals, I act as their accountability partner to make sure that they are staying on course. Finally, the client and I revel in the success because they have been able to accomplish what they’ve set out to do.
It’s a awesome and rewarding field. I am able to watch the incredible transitions that people make to enhance their lives. These improvements and accomplishments range from their personal relationships with their spouse, kids, and/or family members all the way over to their careers and businesses.
